For over two decades, we at Buddha’s Smile School have walked hand in hand with 240 children from the streets, from forgotten corners of society. Every day, they come seeking not just education, but dignity. Many have never known a safe place, and hygiene is a lifeline we cannot ignore. Since our first step, we have ensured every child receives daily health checkups. We teach them to brush, wash hands, and protect themselves especially through COVID, when we were their only shelter, providing medical care and hope. This is not just a project; it’s a promise we’ve kept alive for more than 20 years. In BSS Daycare (ages 1 to 4) and BSS School (nursery to class 5), every child receives a toothbrush, a symbol of their worth, and a step toward a healthier future.
